Matte paint for End Of Season movie
Several years ago we had the opportunity to work on the “End of Season” movie.
Our task was to develop the concept of a burned, destroyed house after bomb explosion, and then to make a photorealistic mattepaint.
The main challenge was that in the movie we were seeing this house from two different points of view, from 2 different angles.
Accordingly those circumstances, mattepaint elements had to be consistent with each other, all details had to be the same as while we`d be watching from two different points of view. It greatly complicated the selection of the necessary materials and made it difficult to work.
